I know it’s been a while but what can I say? Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans. The Centennial Open House is just a little more than a month away and all the details are falling into place. Historic photos, info tables by Stege Sanitary’s partners , live music, proclamations by local politicos….some of the many elements coming together for the Saturday, May 18 event. I hope some of you will make it over to 7500 Schmidt Lane in El Cerrito from 1-4pm. At the very least there will be really nice food from Nature’s Bounty Cafe in Antioch. It’s an all organic cafe and Lynn does an amazing job with catering as well.
Plus, I’ve been working on confirming monthly mixers for the SBA that are turning out to be quite well attended due to our amazing lineup of Guest Speakers and other factors. On 4/23, join me at the wonderful and eclectic 25th St. Collective in Oakland, for an evening with folks from Free Range Studios, the creative group that made ‘The Story of Stuff’ film and ‘Story Wars’.
That’s it for now…back to the fun of planning and producing events! See you later!
